Very friendly service. You can tell that they cook and serve with heart and passion. The food was delicious and well presented. The wine was very good and so was the greeting from the kitchen. I am very happy that we got a table on our holiday evening so it was the crowning glory of our stay at the North Sea. The prices are reasonable and fair for the quality. There is nothing to complain about and we would love to come back again.

We have just fallen in love with this small, at first glance inconspicuous restaurant. We had two very tasty and lovingly prepared fish dishes. In addition, we were served very warmly. My food intolerance was dealt with in a very friendly and flexible manner! Highly Recommended!

Top notch restaurant! Fish of the best quality, combined and presented in a different way. The sauces are unique and a real treat. Starters and desserts also creatively combined in a different way. The wine was so excellent that we will visit the winery in Rheinhessen (Wein- und Sekthaus Kost). La Mer is a family business; the people are very friendly and service is very attentive. Reservation necessary! Preferably from home already! Hygiene measures implemented consistently! Overall: great!

There are several hotels and restaurants in Neuharlingersiel where you can eat good fish. But La Mer clearly stands out in every way. It starts with the friendly staff and the easy-to-understand hygiene rules that have given us as guests in Corona times a safe feeling. But the highlight are the fish dishes. This is not run-of-the-mill, but really good cuisine. You have to make a reservation and it can take a few days to get a seat. But the wait is worth it.

Without any ifs or buts by far the best fish restaurant! You have to reserve and otherwise just enjoy. Great dishes, the best goods, friendly and amusing service. Price-performance are absolutely appropriate. Always my pleasure. 👍🏼

We were in this restaurant for the first time yesterday and can only report positive things. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and served very attentively. The food was just excellent and the hygiene measures were implemented perfectly. In other restaurants, hand disinfectant is available in the entrance (or not 🤷‍♀️), but the responsibility of the guest is relied on, which, as we have observed, is often not given. Surface and hand disinfectants were also available in the toilet area, which is not a matter of course everywhere. All in all, we had a really nice evening.

We stayed at La Mer today on the recommendation of the family and what can we say, it was a culinary delight. The plaice and halibut fillet were top notch. Not to forget the beautiful restaurant and the nice owners. Unfortunately there is no way to get a table there for the next 2 days and then we have to go home again.

You can eat anything here, fish and meat, everything is always special. No run-of-the-mill food. Always friendly, always delicious, even now in the Corona period, they have everything under control there. Definitely try, but table reservations are recommended

Madness! Just madness! In this Restaurant, I've noticed that I'm too careless with the Google stars. If I have distributed 5 stars for very good restaurants so far, this family-run hotel would have deserved at least 6 stars. Everything was great - the service, the wine and most importantly the food. I am a vegetarian, but I always try to broaden my horizons. In any case, I could have eaten the fish (redfish and pollock) of my companions - and be very happy with it ... However, my vegetarian dish was phenomenal too! I have seldom eaten so well. Neuharlingersiel was unfortunately not the destination that won us over (we seem to get a little snobby over time), but for this cuisine it would be worth coming back here. Unreservedly recommendable!

Super great little family restaurant. The food was extremely delicious, the service great. The new hygiene measures will be implemented conscientiously and comprehensibly. Unfortunately, one of our meals was very salty, but we immediately got a replacement plus a greeting from the kitchen as compensation. The place is very small, so reservations are essential. The small room also creates a very warm and beautiful atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening, thank you dear La Mer <3, we would love to come back :)

Found on the Internet as the best restaurant in the North Sea, reserved and not disappointed. All ordered dishes are waiting excellently. The same goes for the greeting from the kitchen. All employees were very friendly with good recommendations. If our vacation were not so short, we would certainly come again. Tip to everyone: Make a reservation. By the way, spraying the hands with disinfectant didn't bother us 😂

What can you say, it was a thoroughly successful evening, we felt totally comfortable. The food was extremely delicious, the service very friendly. A family business that also does the corona dressing extremely well, unfortunately we missed that in some other places and there is nothing wrong with disinfecting your hands, it is the dressings. Definitely the best restaurant in Neuharlingersiel. We come from NRW, so far our sixth visit has been here today. We have always been very satisfied, the operating family is very friendly, our extra requests were always implemented to our satisfaction. The corona measures are implemented very consistently here. Everything great. The food is really very good quality, the portions are generous, so you definitely get full. We would love to come back ... keep it up.

Really top here! We were frankly a bit skeptical because of the almost only exuberantly praising contributions, but the food was well presented and really delicious. What you get here was really fresh cooked and flavorful, somehow a bit different than all the other restaurants you know so well. The staff were all very friendly and always had a cheeky saying on the lip. Conclusion: here you can eat really honest and we would come back.
